Hitgalut has a tripartite agreement with the Federation of Small Scale Miners (FSSM) in Zambia, and Minerals Africa Development Institution (MADI).  This agreement has made it easier for all of us to collaboratively impact communities in rural areas by not only empowering them with the skills of smart mining that will reduce hazardous waste, but also community development through agricultural projects.  Value addition to their mining and agricultural products is also essential.  As a tripartite, we are looking for solutions that can easily be rolled out across the continent.
